Series Wrap-Up: Bullpen Melted, Offense Coors Fielded
May 17, 2011
In lieu of a real wrap-up of this painful to watch series, here’s a few bullet point thoughts.
- Tim Lincecum is human, he’s allowed a bad day.
- It was good to see Jonathan Sanchez pitch as strongly as he did today.
- It was bad to see him get hung out to dry by the bullpen and lack of offense.
- Sergio Romo does in fact exist, but only, apparently, when it no longer matters.
- Bochy’s bullpen management continues to hurt our brains.
- We still hate that stupid purple dinosaur.
Now here’s an article on how Brandon Belt hit a grand slam today and is hitting .353 with RISP. We’re going to go re-read that and re-live his home run off Billingsley in preparation for facing the Dodgers again.
